How we work
Frequently asked questions
How much does the pre-check cost?
The initial eligibility check is free. If we go ahead, you get a written quote for preparing and monitoring the application. In many programmes the consultant fee is an eligible cost.
Can I start buying before my application is approved?
In most programmes, costs incurred before the application is submitted are not funded or can lead to rejection. Talk to us before signing contracts or paying invoices.
How much do I need to contribute?
The grant covers a percentage of the investment (e.g. up to 65% in LEADER Epirus). You cover the rest from your own funds or a loan, usually proven with a bank document.
When do I receive the grant?
Usually after implementation, in one or more instalments, through payment claims. Some programmes offer an advance against a bank guarantee.
What is de minimis?
It is the EU “minor aid” regime. Each business can receive up to €300,000 of such aid over three years. We check your remaining allowance before applying.
I don’t have a business yet. Can I apply?
Yes, many programmes accept businesses being set up or individuals. We tell you exactly when to register, as it differs between programmes.
